FrostBurst is built on a privacy-by-design philosophy: We collect zero personal data.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
FrostBurst does not require an account, username, password, email address, or payment details. We do not set third-party tracking cookies or sell user information to advertisers.
2. Local Browser Storage (localStorage)
FrostBurst stores limited preferences exclusively on your device using your browser's standard localStorage APIs:
frostburst_units: Your unit system preference (imperialvsmetric).frostburst_profile: Your selected activity profile (e.g.snowmobile-trail).frostburst_saved_stations: Array of station slugs you have pinned to your favorites list.fb:latest:v1: Cached telemetry payload (10-minute TTL with offline fallback).
This data never leaves your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.
3. Edge Hosting & Telemetry Infrastructure
Static assets are hosted via Cloudflare Pages. Snow telemetry is updated via a scheduled Cloudflare Worker and served securely without tracking cookies or personal data.
